Diskus is an open-source project released under the GPL-3.0 License.

- Self-Hosting Responsibility: When you self-host Diskus, you are entirely responsible for your own server infrastructure, database security, and compliance with local laws (including GDPR or CPRA) regarding the data you collect from your users.
2. Website and Demo Usage
When using the diskus.pages.dev website or interacting with our public demo widget:
- Acceptable Use: You agree not to post spam, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content in our demo comment sections.
- Public Nature of Demo: The demo environment is completely public. Do not post sensitive or personally identifiable information. We reserve the right to delete any comments, reset the database, or block access to the demo API at any time without prior notice.
- No Uptime Guarantee: Our demo infrastructure is provided strictly for demonstration purposes. We do not guarantee any uptime, availability, or data retention.
3. Intellectual Property
The Diskus logo, branding, and documentation content on diskus.pages.dev are the property of the Diskus developers. The software source code is governed by its GPL-3.0 License.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators and contributors of Diskus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the software or demo.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the demo.
